Italian Sky Dance

I’m still not sure what to make of this.

I went to a family-type summer festival in Bundang, where I was living on my last trip to Korea.

This huge park was filled with what must have been 100,000 people or more. Classical music started to play on loud speakers and from out of the dark came these dancing girls in long white dresses, flying back and forth over our heads on long clothes lines with pulleys.

They performed many different types of dances – mostly with large globes. Another was with a ship and some used fire sticks.

Apparently the dance group is from Italy.

The crowd ate this up. It was a big hit.
