Hiroshima Japan

Gembaku Dome. The A-Bomb exploded directlly above. The shell of the building survived. It`s kept as a memorial - there were only a few scattered buildings left standing in the aftermath - maybe 5 or 6.
Right now (feb 2006) it`s covered in staging. They must be doing some restoration work - to the dismay of all the tourists who show up to take pictures.

Arguably the best beer in Japan. The road below leads on to nothing but trouble.

A sunny day in the peace park. The park is huge and always relaxing. It`s full of cherry blossoms in the spring. Notice the smile - This photo was taken when i first arrived in Hiroshima - ie. before I started working.
