JuJu`s Graduation
Hiroshima, Japan
March 2006
I got the chance to see my friend Juju in her kimono on her graduation day. It was a big day for her. Congratulations !
On a personal note, I`m really going to miss the kimonos when i leave Japan. The girls only wear them on special occasions - like grad ceremonies, weddings, and their 20th birthday. They are expensive and require hours of preparation. The girls` long beautiful hair is all tied up, all curves in their bodies are concealed and they are wrapped up so tight that they can hardly walk. Yet, maybe therein lies the sensuality.
The after-party at Mac.
(Mac seems to be every party`s after-party) - the nijikai.
